The short version
We collect the minimum needed to sell you socks, and we disclose all of it — the same way we disclose the composition. No advertising trackers run on this site today. If that ever changes, this policy and a consent notice change first.
What we collect
- Order details — name, delivery address, email, and order contents, processed through Shopify's checkout. Payment is handled by Shopify's payment providers; your card number never touches our systems.
- Email address — only if you sign up for updates in the footer. Unsubscribe works with one click, always.
- Cart contents — stored in your own browser (localStorage), not on our servers. It never leaves your device until you check out.
What we don't collect
No analytics cookies, no advertising pixels, no fingerprinting, no session recording — as of the date above. This site sets no tracking cookies.
Who processes data for us
- Shopify Inc. — checkout, orders, and payments.
- [email provider — add when chosen, e.g. Klaviyo/Mailchimp] — the update list.
- Shipping carriers — name and address, to deliver your order.
Retention and your rights
Order records are kept as long as UAE commercial and tax law requires. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@wearstroma.com [confirm address]. We answer within [30] days.
Jurisdiction
STROMA operates from the United Arab Emirates and handles personal data in line with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data. If you shop from a region with stronger rights (such as the EU), we honour those rights too.
